The lighting of these diyas—symbolic oil lamps—was a tribute to the return of Lord Ram to Ayodhya and a part of the Diwali celebrations that have become one of the city’s defining annual events.
The banks of the holy Saryu River served as the epicenter of this mesmerizing event. Thousands of devotees and pilgrims gathered to witness the breathtaking sight, as the flickering lights turned the night into a golden spectacle.
