Ramesh Bidhuri Speaks Out: BJP’s Candidate for Kalkaji Targets Delhi CM and Promises Change

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced Ramesh Bidhuri as its candidate for the Kalkaji assembly constituency in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. In his first statement following the nomination, Bidhuri expressed gratitude towards the BJP leadership for entrusting him with the responsibility of reclaiming the Kalkaji seat.

“I thank the BJP leadership for showing trust in me to reclaim the Kalkaji assembly seat,” said Bidhuri during a press briefing. He criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and its leadership, particularly targeting Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. According to Bidhuri, the governance under the AAP-led Delhi government has brought hardship to the people of Kalkaji.

“Delhi is suffering because of Arvind Kejriwal. The people of Kalkaji have also faced ‘aapda’ [disaster] under CM Atishi,” he remarked, taking a sharp dig at Atishi, a prominent AAP leader and minister.

Bidhuri, a seasoned politician known for his grassroots connect, outlined the issues plaguing the Kalkaji constituency. He claimed that inadequate infrastructure, water scarcity, and deteriorating public services are some of the major challenges faced by residents. He accused the AAP government of neglecting the region and promised that the BJP would work towards addressing these issues if given the mandate.

As the election season heats up, Bidhuri’s nomination has sparked enthusiasm among BJP workers in Kalkaji, who are gearing up for an intense battle against AAP, which has traditionally held strong sway in the constituency.

The Kalkaji seat, currently a significant political battleground, has been a reflection of the broader tussle between the BJP and AAP in Delhi. While AAP has emphasized its work in education, health, and social welfare, the BJP has consistently targeted the party over corruption allegations and shortcomings in governance.

Bidhuri concluded his statement by calling on Kalkaji residents to place their trust in the BJP for a brighter and more accountable future. “Kalkaji deserves better. It is time to bring real change and development to our constituency,” he asserted.

The election is expected to witness a high-stakes contest as both parties mobilize their resources to woo voters in the bustling constituency.
