Ola Launches S1 Pro+ in India: Prices, Specs, and Features

31 January, 2025; Ola Electric has officially launched the Gen 3 S1 Pro+ electric scooter in India, priced at Rs. 1.55 lakh (ex-showroom). The scooter is offered in two variants – a 4kWh version and a 5.3kWh version. The top-spec model carries a price tag of Rs. 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom).

Power and Performance

The Ola S1 Pro+ is equipped with the most powerful electric motor in an electric scooter, boasting a peak output of 13kW (17.5bhp). The 5.3kWh variant can achieve a top speed of 141kph, while the 4kWh version has a slightly lower top speed of 128kph. The scooter accelerates from 0 to 40kph in just 2.1 seconds (5.3kWh variant) and 2.3 seconds (4kWh variant), making it one of the quickest electric scooters available.

Range and Battery Performance

The larger 5.3kWh variant offers an impressive IDC range of 320km, while the 4kWh variant delivers a claimed range of 242km. However, real-world conditions are expected to provide a range of approximately 200-220km for the 5.3kWh model and 170-180km for the 4kWh model.

Design and Features

Ola Electric has introduced the S1 Pro+ in six color options: Porcelain White, Midnight Blue, Passion Red, Industrial Silver, Stellar Blue, and Jet Black. The scooter features brake-by-wire technology, which combines mechanical and electronic braking to improve brake pad efficiency and enhance the range by 15%. Additionally, dual-channel ABS comes standard across all variants.

Riding Modes and Warranty

The S1 Pro+ is equipped with four riding modes – Hyper, Sport, Normal, and Eco – to suit various riding styles and conditions. Ola offers a standard warranty of three years or 40,000km. For an additional Rs. 14,999, the warranty can be extended to eight years or 1,25,000km.
