3 February, 2025; Gold Prices Surge to Record High of ₹85,300 per 10 Grams
Gold prices soared by ₹400 on Monday, reaching a fresh all-time high of ₹85,300 per 10 grams in the national capital, according to the All India Sarafa Association. The rise in gold rates was driven by strong demand from jewellers and stockists.
Traders attributed the surge to the sharp depreciation of the rupee and firm trends in international markets, which pushed gold prices to record levels.
On Saturday, the price of gold with 99.9% purity had settled at ₹84,900 per 10 grams.
