Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Praises ‘Chhaava’ Film, Hails Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s Sacrifice

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, along with state ministers and MLAs, attended a special screening of the film Chhaava, which is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Speaking to the media after the event, CM Yadav highlighted the inspirational legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and the sacrifice of his son, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, for the protection of religion and culture.

CM Yadav remarked, “I have come with state ministers and MLAs to watch the film ‘Chhaava’ based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s life is an inspiration for all of us. Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj sacrificed his life for the protection of religion and culture.”

The Chief Minister emphasized the relevance of these historical figures’ sacrifices in the current global context, stating that the world is witnessing political and social turmoil. However, he expressed confidence that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is making significant progress and upholding its rich cultural heritage globally.

“The world is going through turmoil and our country is facing many challenges, but under the leadership of PM Modi, the nation is developing and waving the flag of culture across the world,” Yadav said.

The film Chhaava portrays the valiant life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Sambhaji Maharaj is celebrated for his bravery and unwavering commitment to protecting the Maratha Empire and Hindu culture. His resistance against the Mughal Empire and his ultimate sacrifice have made him a revered figure in Indian history.

CM Yadav’s remarks reflect the significance of preserving and promoting India’s rich history and cultural values. He underscored the need to draw inspiration from historical figures like Chhatrapati Shivaji and Sambhaji Maharaj to navigate modern challenges and strengthen national unity.
