The couple revealed the news through a heartfelt video and several images on Instagram, showing 27-year-old Hailey showcasing her baby bump in a white lace dress.
Celebrity friends, including US reality TV star Kim Kardashian and model Gigi Hadid, were quick to offer their congratulations on the couple’s social media announcement.
Hailey and 30-year-old Justin tied the knot in a private ceremony in New York back in 2018.
Their Instagram announcements included a romantic video of them kissing and additional close-up shots highlighting Hailey’s bump, showcased in her fitted dress. The only text in their posts was their Instagram handles.
A representative for Hailey confirmed to The Associated Press on Thursday that she is just over six months pregnant.
According to a press statement from Yves Saint Laurent, the footage and photos were taken during the Biebers’ vow renewal ceremony in Hawaii on Thursday.
Hailey, daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin, is not only a model but also the founder of the skincare brand, Rhode. Justin, discovered at the age of 13, became a global pop star with hits like “Baby,” “Love Me,” and “Yummy.”
Last year, Justin had to cancel the rest of his Justice world tour due to health issues related to Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which causes facial paralysis. However, the Canadian singer made a surprise appearance at Coachella last month, performing the 2020 hit “Essence” with Wizkid during a performance by Nigerian artist Tems.
