May 18;TMKOC actor Gurucharan Singh, who had been missing since April 22, 2024, returned home on Friday night. Hours after his return, the first picture of the former Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor surfaced on social media. Singh, known for his role as Roshan Singh Sodhi in the popular sitcom, had disappeared on April 22 and came back to his house in New Delhi on Friday night.
On Saturday morning, paparazzo account Viral Bhayani shared a picture of Gurucharan Singh on Instagram. In the photo, the actor looked unrecognizable with a long beard and was seen smiling as he posed with a police official. Singh had been scheduled to take a flight from Delhi to Mumbai but never reached the IGI airport. Following a missing complaint filed by his father, the Delhi police took extensive measures to locate him.
On Saturday morning, Delhi police officials announced that Singh had returned home. After being questioned by the police, it was revealed that he had left home for a religious journey, visiting Gurudwaras in Amritsar and Ludhiana. Eventually, he decided to return home.
Shortly after his return, Singh’s TMKOC co-star Jennifer Mistry expressed her happiness. “This is good news. He was missing for almost a month, and everyone was worried, from his parents to fans. I had a feeling he was on a spiritual journey since he is a very spiritual person. I am relieved that he is safe and that his parents must be too,” she said.
