Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge Discharged from Hospital in Kathua, J&K

Kathua, Jammu & Kashmir – Senior Congress leader and the party’s national president, Mallikarjun Kharge, was discharged from a hospital in Kathua after being admitted briefly for feeling slightly unwell during a public meeting in Jasrota.

Kharge had been addressing a gathering as part of his party’s outreach efforts when he experienced discomfort, prompting his medical team to advise a precautionary check-up. He was taken to a local hospital in Kathua, where doctors conducted routine evaluations.

Thankfully, it was reported that there were no major health concerns, and Kharge was discharged after a short stay. Following his discharge, the Congress president expressed his gratitude to the medical staff and the people of Kathua for their concern and well wishes.

Kharge’s brief hospital visit did not dampen the enthusiasm of the Congress supporters, who had gathered in large numbers for the public meeting. His visit to Jammu & Kashmir was part of a larger effort by the Congress party to connect with voters ahead of upcoming elections and strengthen the party’s presence in the region.

Despite the temporary setback, Kharge is expected to resume his political engagements soon and continue his leadership efforts for the Congress party. Party members and supporters remain hopeful about his quick recovery and full return to the campaign trail.
