20 November, 2024;Nagpur, November 20, 2024: Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister and BJP candidate for the Nagpur South-West Assembly seat, Devendra Fadnavis, along with his family, exercised their democratic right by casting their votes today in the Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024.
Accompanied by his wife, Amruta Fadnavis, and mother, Sarita Fadnavis, the senior BJP leader proudly displayed his inked finger after voting at a polling booth in Nagpur. The trio’s presence at the booth not only highlighted their commitment to the democratic process but also aimed to encourage voter participation.
Speaking briefly to the media after casting his vote, Devendra Fadnavis expressed optimism about the BJP’s performance in the state elections. “The people of Maharashtra have faith in the leadership of the BJP, and I am confident they will vote for stability and progress,” he said. He also urged citizens to come out in large numbers and cast their votes, emphasizing the importance of every vote in shaping the state’s future.
Amruta Fadnavis, known for her active public engagements and social initiatives, also spoke about the significance of voting. “It is not just a right but a responsibility. We must all participate in the democratic process to ensure a better tomorrow,” she said.
The Nagpur South-West seat holds special importance for Devendra Fadnavis, as it has been his stronghold for multiple terms.
