30 November, 2024; Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh – A significant security arrangement was observed outside the residence of Mata Prasad Pandey, the Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly and senior leader of the Samajwadi Party. Police personnel were deployed as a precautionary measure ahead of Pandey’s expected visit to Sambhal today, accompanied by a delegation of the party.
The delegation’s visit comes amidst rising political tensions in the state. While the exact purpose of the visit remains undisclosed, sources suggest it may involve addressing recent local issues or supporting party workers in Sambhal.
