4 December, 2024; Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh – Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted a high-level meeting with senior officials to assess the state’s law and order situation. The meeting, held at the Chief Minister’s residence, focused on strengthening public safety, ensuring justice, and maintaining peace across Uttar Pradesh.
During the session, CM Adityanath emphasized the need for strict vigilance against anti-social elements and highlighted the state’s zero-tolerance policy towards crime. He directed police officials to expedite investigations, ensure swift action in sensitive cases, and adopt advanced technologies for crime prevention and detection.
The Chief Minister also instructed officers to increase patrolling in urban and rural areas, particularly in zones identified as vulnerable. “Law and order form the backbone of development,” he remarked, reiterating his government’s commitment to creating a secure environment for citizens and investors alike.
Special attention was given to cases involving women and children, with the CM calling for harsher actions against perpetrators of crimes against vulnerable groups. He also reviewed the progress of ongoing initiatives, including the deployment of additional forces in hotspot areas and the use of drones for surveillance in high-density zones.
Adityanath praised the efforts of the police force in tackling organized crime but urged them to remain proactive in curbing emerging threats. The Chief Minister also underlined the importance of community policing and fostering trust between law enforcement agencies and citizens.
Officials assured the Chief Minister of their continued dedication to maintaining order and promised actionable steps to address gaps in the system.
