5 December, 2024; Mumbai witnessed a significant political gathering as Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Brajesh Thakur arrived to participate in the swearing-in ceremony of the newly formed Maharashtra government. The event, held with much fanfare, marked the formation of the “Mahayuti” government, a coalition bringing together key leaders Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath Shinde, and Ajit Pawar.

Speaking at the event, CM Brajesh Thakur extended his congratulations to the leaders and expressed optimism about the alliance’s ability to foster development. “The Mahayuti government will take oath today. On this occasion, I congratulate Devendra Fadnavis sahib and his entire team, Eknath Shinde ji, and Ajit Dada. On behalf of UP, I also congratulate Maharashtra BJP on its victory in the state,” he stated.

Highlighting the coalition’s potential, Thakur emphasized the impact of a “double-engine government” in driving progress. “This government will set a benchmark for multifaceted development in the state,” he added, reiterating the BJP’s commitment to cooperative federalism and development across India.

The Mahayuti government symbolizes a strong alliance between the BJP, Shinde’s Shiv Sena faction, and Ajit Pawar’s NCP group, aiming to create a stable political framework in Maharashtra. Political analysts believe that this coalition will streamline governance and expedite developmental projects, ensuring holistic growth in the state.

The swearing-in ceremony saw the attendance of several prominent leaders, reflecting the significance of Maharashtra’s political landscape in shaping the national narrative.
