Actress Adah Sharma, celebrated for her performance in “The Kerala Story,” was rumored to be acquiring a flat in Mumbai’s Mont Blanc Apartments, famously associated with the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. This development piqued interest among fans and the public in August. The untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput in 2020 left the nation in shock, with his body discovered in this very apartment on June 14, 2020. Since then, the property had reportedly remained vacant. After a period of silence, Adah has now addressed these rumors.
In a conversation with Siddharth Kanan, Adah expressed, “For the moment, I’d prefer to say that I reside in the hearts of everyone. There’s a proper moment for everything. The visit to the apartment overwhelmed me due to the media scrutiny. I cherish my privacy. While I enjoy public attention for my film work, I’ve always valued my private life.”
Adah Sharma was disheartened by certain remarks about Sushant Singh Rajput following the news of his apartment’s sale. She believed discussing the deceased in such a manner was inappropriate. “It felt incorrect to speak of someone who has left us, someone who contributed wonderful works to cinema. I have immense respect for him, and my actions will always reflect that respect,” Adah commented. She also criticized the negative commentary online, stating, “Criticism directed at me is tolerable, but not against someone who is no longer here to defend themselves. I’ll soon share details about my material living space, but for now, I live rent-free in the hearts of countless people.”
The spacious duplex 4BHK apartment in Mont Blanc Apartments, known for its breathtaking sea view and a 2,500 square feet area including a terrace, is located on Carter Road in Bandra West, Mumbai, on the sixth floor. It was listed for sale or rent online by real estate agent Rafique Merchant in December 2022, aiming to find interested buyers or tenants.
