Amitabh Bachchan has announced the commencement of filming for the new season of “Kaun Banega Crorepati.” The sixteenth season of the show is set to premiere on April 26. Returning as the host, Bachchan shared his first day’s experience and photos from the set late Tuesday night via his blog. He described a hectic schedule where he skipped the usual breaks and even had his lunch in his car.
Initially arriving in a casual outfit, Bachchan later switched to his iconic formal black suit. Greeting his fans warmly, he shared on his blog: “Set out for work in my car, transformed by the responsibilities towards the people. A new season of the game is about to begin, may the love and affection of the ef family continue.”
The blog post continued with Bachchan’s reflections on his packed day, mentioning that he worked non-stop from 9 AM to 5 PM, followed by his evening spent enjoying an IPL cricket match between Chennai Super Kings and Lucknow Super Giants. He expressed his ongoing passion for cricket, reminiscing about past times when he would catch games on a small TV or by a roadside shop during his university days in the late 1950s.
Concluding his post, Bachchan highlighted the unmatched experience of watching a game in a stadium and announced his need to retire to bed after a long day. The announcement of KBC 16’s imminent return was also confirmed by Sony Entertainment Television, which teased the upcoming season and registration details on social media.
