In a heartfelt message, National Conference (NC) President Farooq Abdullah expressed his sorrow over the loss of his former colleague, reflecting on the warmth of their relationship despite Rana’s departure from the NC in 2021.
“Devendra was a wise man,” said Abdullah, paying tribute to the BJP MLA. “We had good relations with him, but in 2021, he left the National Conference. We never made any statement against him. Death is inevitable and it spares no one. Whoever has come has to go.” His words resonated with a sense of acceptance and reverence for the inevitability of life’s end.
Abdullah extended his support and empathy to Rana’s grieving family, offering his prayers for their strength during this challenging time. “May God give courage to his family to bear this shock,” he added.
