Haryana Elections: Anil Vij Expresses Confidence in Victory from Ambala Cantonment

In the ongoing electoral campaign in Haryana, veteran BJP leader Anil Vij has expressed strong confidence in securing another victory from the Ambala Cantonment Assembly seat. Vij, a seasoned politician and six-time winner from the constituency, praised the people of Ambala for their discernment and support.

“The people of Ambala Cantonment are very intelligent and prudent. They have made an ordinary person like me win from here six times,” Vij said, highlighting the deep connection he shares with the electorate. He added, “The kind of enthusiasm seen in the people of the entire Ambala Cantonment today shows that this time too, the people of Ambala will make me win with more votes than ever before.”

Vij’s remarks come at a time when the election campaign in Haryana is intensifying, with various political parties vying for supremacy. While expressing confidence in the support of his constituency, Vij took a jab at the Congress party, criticizing internal divisions within its ranks. “The Congress party is a group of factions. The fight for supremacy is going on among them since the day the Election Commission announced the elections,” he said. He further noted that there was evident infighting within the Congress, stating, “There is a fight to defeat each other and humiliate each other. The public knows what end it will reach.”

As one of the senior-most leaders in the Haryana BJP, Anil Vij has built a reputation for his straightforward remarks and grassroots connection. His criticism of the Congress reflects the broader political dynamics in the state, where both parties are gearing up for a closely contested election. The people of Ambala Cantonment, known for their informed political choices, are expected to play a crucial role in determining Vij’s future in the assembly.

The upcoming elections will determine whether Vij’s longstanding relationship with the electorate and his critique of the Congress will translate into another resounding victory.
