Jaipur: Deputy CM Prem Chand Bairwa Pays Tribute to Dr B.R. Ambedkar on His 135th Birth Anniversary

Jaipur, April 14: Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa, along with other senior leaders and officials, paid floral tributes to Dr B.R. Ambedkar on the occasion of his 135th birth anniversary in Jaipur. The commemorative event was held to honor the contributions of Babasaheb Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Indian Constitution and a champion of social justice.

Speaking at the event, Bairwa highlighted the enduring legacy of Dr Ambedkar and his profound impact on Indian society. “Today, 14 April is not just a date but a golden day for India when Babasaheb was born. He is an inspiration for us,” the Deputy Chief Minister said.

He further acknowledged the role of successive governments in preserving Ambedkar’s legacy. “When Prime Minister Modi took power, he gave respect to Babasaheb Ambedkar. When Atal Bihari Vajpayee was in power, he gave Bharat Ratna to Babasaheb,” Bairwa noted.

The event saw participation from political leaders, social activists, and citizens who gathered to remember and celebrate the life and ideals of Dr Ambedkar. Cultural performances, readings from the Constitution, and discussions on Ambedkar’s vision for social equality were also part of the observance.

Dr B.R. Ambedkar, born on April 14, 1891, remains a towering figure in India’s social and political history. His contributions toward establishing a just and equitable society continue to inspire generations across the country.
