Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde participated in the Bhagwat Satsang and Sanatan Sammelan held in Bhayandar today, marking a significant presence at the spiritual gathering. The event, focused on spreading the message of the Bhagavad Gita and Sanatan Dharma, drew thousands of devotees and religious leaders from across the state.

Addressing the gathering, CM Shinde highlighted the importance of spiritual practices in modern life and expressed his commitment to upholding the values of Sanatan Dharma, which is rooted in ancient Indian traditions. He acknowledged the role of such spiritual events in fostering unity and harmony in society and lauded the organizers for bringing people together in the spirit of faith and devotion.

“Sanatan Dharma teaches us the path of righteousness, peace, and mutual respect. In today’s fast-paced world, it’s crucial to stay connected to our spiritual roots and embrace the teachings of our scriptures,” said Shinde during his address.

The Bhagwat Satsang featured discourses on the Bhagavad Gita, focusing on key lessons from the sacred text, including the importance of selflessness, duty, and devotion to God. The Sanatan Sammelan, on the other hand, centered around the promotion and preservation of Sanatan traditions, with emphasis on religious rituals, festivals, and cultural heritage.

Shinde, who is known for attending religious and cultural events, expressed his support for the continued propagation of Sanatan Dharma and encouraged people, especially the youth, to imbibe its teachings. He also spoke about the role of spirituality in guiding the government’s development initiatives, underlining the need for a balanced approach that respects cultural values while pursuing progress.

The event saw the participation of several spiritual leaders and scholars, who spoke about the relevance of the Bhagavad Gita and Sanatan practices in contemporary life. Bhajans (devotional songs) and prayers filled the air, creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere for the attendees.

CM Shinde’s attendance at the Bhagwat Satsang and Sanatan Sammelan is seen as part of his continued efforts to connect with people through religious and cultural engagement, reinforcing his commitment to the state’s spiritual and cultural heritage.

As the event concluded, Shinde thanked the spiritual leaders and the devotees for their participation and emphasized that such gatherings play a vital role in promoting peace, harmony, and moral values in society.
