Empowering Agriculture
At the heart of the agricultural revitalization efforts is the “Holistic Agriculture Development Programme”. Aimed at equipping approximately 2.5 lakh farmers with essential skills and knowledge, this programme represents a transformative step towards modernizing agriculture in J&K. The dedicated Daksh Kisan portal, a cornerstone of this initiative, promises to be a game-changer by offering tailored skill development resources to the agricultural community.
Daksh Kisan Portal

By providing a one-stop solution for all their skill development needs, the portal aims to facilitate a more informed and skilled farming community, capable of adopting modern agricultural practices and thereby increasing their productivity and income.
Kisan Khidmat Ghars
Another innovative feature of the programme is the establishment of about 2000 Kisan Khidmat Ghars. These centres will serve as crucial support structures for the farming community, offering access to resources, training, and services essential for their growth and prosperity.
Revitalizing Tourism
In a major boost to the tourism sector, the Prime Minister is set to launch 52 tourism sector projects worth more than Rs 1400 crore under the Swadesh Darshan and PRASHAD Scheme.
