In the midst of ongoing election preparations, the BJP has sought an additional week, and the Congress has requested two more weeks from the Election Commission to address notices concerning alleged violations of the model code of conduct involving their party leaders.
As the third phase of the Lok Sabha Election approaches, Prime Minister Narendra Modi rallied supporters in Maharashtra’s Madha and Dharashiv. He is also scheduled to speak at a rally in Alladurg, Sangareddy district of Telangana, marking his second campaign event in the state since the announcement of the election schedule.
Telangana remains a key focus for the BJP as it aims to secure a substantial number of seats to reach its goal of winning 370 seats in the Lok Sabha.

The election scene also heated up with the withdrawal of the Congress candidate from Indore in the Lok Sabha race, leading to a dramatic exchange between the Congress and the BJP, highlighted by a post from senior BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya.
At a public gathering in Maharashtra’s Dharashiv, PM Modi emphasized his commitment to improving the lives of citizens, contrasting it with opposition efforts focused on removing him from office. Speaking at another event in Madha, he boasted of the BJP’s achievements over the past decade, comparing them to the Congress’s performance over seventy years.
The Shiv-sena, led by Shinde, nominated Ravindra Wairkar as their candidate for the North West Lok Sabha constituency in Mumbai as part of the Mahayuti alliance. Amit Shah spoke out against religion-based reservations and dismissed allegations from the Congress that the BJP intends to alter the constitution or existing reservation policies.
Deputy CM Ajit Pawar commented on the Mahayuti alliance in Maharashtra, emphasizing that the collaboration was formed for development purposes, not for political gain.
