Prashant Kishor to Launch Political Party: A New Dawn in Bihar Politics

Patna, Bihar – Political strategist-turned-activist Prashant Kishor is set to officially launch his long-anticipated political party, marking a significant shift in Bihar’s political landscape. Known for his success in engineering electoral victories across India, Kishor’s decision to enter politics has been keenly observed by political analysts and the public alike.

In a rally, Kishor, the founder of the Jan Suraaj movement, delivered an impassioned speech that struck a deep chord with the people of Bihar. He rallied them to take pride in their identity and not allow the term “Bihari” to be wielded as a slur or insult. His words, resonant with themes of dignity, self-respect, and regional pride, were a call to the people of Bihar to assert themselves on the national stage.

“You all need to say ‘Jai Bihar’ so loud that no one calls you and your children ‘Bihari’ and it feels like an abuse,” Kishor declared. “Your voice must reach Delhi. It must reach Bengal where students from Bihar were beaten. It must reach Tamil Nadu, Delhi, and Bombay wherever Bihari children were abused and beaten.”

The reference to the mistreatment of Bihari students and workers in different parts of the country highlighted the challenges faced by migrants from Bihar. Kishor’s comments alluded to incidents in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra, where people from Bihar have often been subject to discrimination and violence. By raising these issues, he positioned his party as a platform to fight for the rights and dignity of Biharis, both within the state and across India.

Kishor’s decision to enter politics after years of serving as a key strategist for various political parties reflects his deep-rooted belief that change must come from within the system. His Jan Suraaj movement, which has been engaging with people at the grassroots level for months, is seen as a step toward transforming Bihar’s political and governance model. Kishor has consistently emphasized the need for a new political culture in Bihar, one that prioritizes development, education, and employment, and which gives its people a stronger voice in national discourse.

The upcoming official launch of his political party is expected to shake up the existing political alignments in Bihar, which have long been dominated by established players like Nitish Kumar’s JD(U), Lalu Prasad Yadav’s RJD, and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Kishor, however, appears to be focusing on issues that resonate deeply with the public, offering a vision that transcends traditional party lines.

As the state waits for further announcements, Kishor’s call for a collective “Jai Bihar” is seen not only as a rallying cry for self-empowerment but as a signal that he aims to bring Bihar’s voice to the forefront of national politics.

This movement, if successful, could reshape Bihar’s future, giving its people a renewed sense of pride and belonging. With the formal launch of his political party just around the corner, Bihar may be witnessing the rise of a new political era.
