Lucknow, August 23, 2024: The much-anticipated Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Exam 2024 commenced today across all districts of the state. Speaking on the importance of this exam, Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Amit Verma emphasized the significance of the event, stating, “Today is the first day of this exam… This is a very important exam.”
In anticipation of potential challenges, the authorities have implemented robust security measures. According to JCP Amit Verma, “Adequate arrangements have been made for security and monitoring. This exam is going on in all the districts of Uttar Pradesh… We have arranged force at all the centers… We are also constantly visiting.”
The authorities are leaving no stone unturned in ensuring the integrity of the exam. A control room has been established to monitor activities at all examination centers. “We are monitoring all the centers through the control room…. All the rooms are being constantly watched,” added Verma.
In a preemptive move to curb misinformation, the police have already taken action against those attempting to spread false information. “Yesterday we have lodged an FIR against some X and Telegram handles,” JCP Verma disclosed, urging the public to be vigilant. “My appeal is not to go by any misleading news.”

With these extensive security arrangements and ongoing vigilance, the authorities aim to conduct the exam smoothly and securely across the state.
