Bhubaneswar, Odisha – The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has provided an update on the weather conditions expected over the next week in Odisha. According to the Director of IMD Bhubaneswar, Manorama Mohanty, the state will experience relatively calm weather with minimal rainfall activity in the coming days.
For the next seven days, Odisha is not expected to witness any significant rainfall. However, isolated districts may see some rain. Within the next 24 hours, light to moderate rainfall is predicted in the districts of Mayurbhanj, Kendujhar, and Balasore.
On October 17th, similar light to moderate showers are likely in isolated areas, particularly in the districts of Cuttack and Nayagarh. Moving forward to October 18th, rainfall is expected to affect the coastal regions of Odisha, although it will remain limited to light to moderate intensity.
Residents in the affected districts are advised to stay updated on local weather reports, though overall, the forecast suggests a relatively dry spell for most parts of the state.
